I was going to get her a Madeleine pan from Crate & Barrel, but fortunately noticed that it was made in China. Luckily, Williams-Sonoma was in the same mall and theirs was made in France.
I didn't think to photograph the process, but took this as the "before" picture to see how much dough it takes to make the perfect madeleine.
